Rate a Wine and Save 15%
We call it Rate a Wine. In reality it’s an ethical bribe for you to write a personal review for any one of our world-class wines.
We want to hear honest reviews of our wines so don’t be shy.
If you want to earn an additional 15% Discount on your next on-line wine purchase and would like to tell others what you think of our wine, what better way is there to do both?
The rules are simple: When you Rate a Wine and it is published* by our staff, we will send you a special coupon code via email that will give you an additional 15% discount on your next on-line wine purchase.
How often and how many wines can you submit a review? You may rate as many wines as we have and submit them as often as you like. (Our only limitation is One coupon per purchase and they cannot be combined)
Do the discounts add up? You bet because these coupons are designed to give you a discount in ADDITION to your standard and/or club member On-line discounts.
Non Wine Club Member Discount Example: Any Single bottle purchases up to 11 bottles will receive the 15% discount and case purchases (any 12 bottles combined) will receive a 20% discount plus the 15% Coupon discount. That equals 35% off of any case or 12 bottle purchases. (No other one time discounts can be used in conjunction with this offer).
Wine Club Member Discounts Example: Single Bottle purchases will receive the wine club member 20% discount plus the 15% Coupon discount for 35% off of bottle purchases and case purchases will receive the wine club member 30% discount plus the 15% Coupon discount. That’s a whopping 45% on all case purchases.

How do you rate a wine?
- Simply go to http://www.vrwinery.com and click on the Shop button
- Then click on one of your favorite wines.
- Depending on your Browser and resolution, slide down until you see the
Click on the Green "Write a Review" Tab
light blue “Reviews” tab and click on it.
- Next, click on the green “Write a Review” button.
- Write your review.
- Enter your name and email address (I know it says optional, but it’s not if you want to get your coupon code)
- Once approved* and published you will receive an email with your coupon code from Van Ruiten Family Winery for you next on-line purchase.
Tips for getting your reviews published:
Rate the wine on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Your Reviews must be complete. Tell us what you like about the wine and don’t be afraid to be creative. You can tell us when and where you first had it (if you remember)… tell us how you pair it with food, your favorite time to drink it, your favorite people to drink it with. Did you have a Dinner party or a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner that our wines were paired with? Did you Introduce or recommended the wine to someone else? Tell us everything.
Don’t forget to include your Name and Email address in the review otherwise we won’t know where to send the coupon code.
